New Primary School for Quedgley Urban Village gets underway
The steel frame has now been erected for Kingsway School and the building is on target to open in the next academic year. Quattro have subsequently been chosen to design a community centre, pavilion and bowling green for the new village.
Supported flats for deaf adults is opened
Buckley Court was officially opened on 9th November 2007. It is Bristol's first residential scheme for deaf adults who want to live independently but who still require some supervision before being able to manage in the wider community.
Housing Associations recognize design expertise
We are pleased to announce that Quattro have been formally accepted onto the Spectrum/West Mercia and Bromford Housing Group framework contracts. The practice has already carried out schemes in Cheltenham for BHG and we look forward to building on our relationship with this important client group over the next four years.
Shop front improvements begin on Bristol’s showcase bus route
The first of a rolling programme of improvements to shop fronts on one of Bristol’s main access routes has been completed. A local independent optician on Church Road has taken advantage of a grant from Bristol East Side Traders and Quattro’s architectural services to give his premises an impressive facelift.

BENHALL PRIMARY SCHOOL, CHELTENHAM
The substantial remodelling of 6 classrooms in a 1960’s primary school prioritised the enlargement of classrooms, improving daylighting and generally upgrading the inadequate accommodation to bring it up to current standards. New IT suites, library areas, interactive white boards and external play areas were included in the modernisation.
GRANGE CHILDRENS CENTRE, GLOUCESTER
A £600,000 extension to a busy and rapidly developing primary school. The extension includes a training kitchen, health services, nursery and cafe. The building has been designed to very high levels of energy efficiency.

COMPETITION WIN
Quattro are delighted to have been selected by Bristol Zoo for their ambitious National Wildlife Conservation Park project at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol. This prestigeous commission has been won through stiff nationwide competition.
Design Advisor to PFI Housing
Quattro has been selected as Design Advisor for West Wiltshire District Council's PFI housing project. As advisor Quattro will be ensuring that good design is high on the agenda for selecting a PFI partner. Quattro will also prepare planning submission for a number of sites that will form part of the project.
Education Naturally
Quattro have been appointed by West Berkshire Council to overhaul and extend the Thatcham Nature Discovery Centre, set in a beautiful Lake side location near Newbury. The council were impressed by Quattro's expertise in environmental design and we can look forward to the development of an impressive green project on this site.
Wellspring Healthy Living Centre wins civic society environmental award
Wellspring Healthy Living Centre has been given a Civic Society Environmental Award showing recognition for this truly excellent project. The judges were particularly impressed by the creativity of the public art which had sprung from local people; they were also impressed by the extent that local people had been involved at every stage in the design of the building.
