Frome Extra Care

Planning consent has been received for this 36 flat extra care scheme for Flourish Homes. The scheme forms the first phase of Westbury Partnership’s £17m regeneration of the Randolph Road area in Frome, currently blighted by pre-cast concrete dwellings.
The new building is fitted onto a steeply sloping site with sunny 2 bedroom flats surrounding gardens on two levels. Generous and open common parts include a café, lounge, hairdresser and hobby rooms to encourage the residents to socialize; it also acts as a hub for services to older people in the town.
