Meadow Court, Pewsey

This is a mixed-use scheme providing the village with a building of twenty four one and two bed flats for older people with some care needs; it incorporates a day centre and eight cottages for sale. Set amongst bungalows on a sheltered housing complex the new facilities act as a focus of care and support for a wider community and this model is particularly appropriate for rural areas. At the opening event it was described by one of the residents who returned to a new flat having lived in the old sheltered block on the site as the 'creme de la creme' of Aster's housing stock for older people.
