Llanishen extraCare

Quattro’s scheme of 102 flats over four stories offers an imposing form in the setting of the new urban village, Ty Glas. Quattro helped to win the project through competitive bid by proposing a radical new design providing improved use of the site.

The accommodation is mainly mixed tenure two bed roomed extra care flats; a central main entrance minimises travel distances and improves efficiency for staff. Activity rooms, vertical circulation and other shared functions are located in the ‘hub’ on each level to create a bustling heart whilst the wings provide a quieter location for the flats.

The project has been awarded BREEAM “Excellent”.
