Hugh Nettelfield, Dip Arch RIBA: Director.

Hugh Nettelfield

Hugh completed his training at Kingston in 1979. He worked for a year with the Ockenden Venture, setting up homes for Vietnamese refugee “boat people” before joining Solon Housing Association in Bristol. Hugh was one of four founding directors who in 1984 established Quattro Design, set up with the commitment of being of benefit to the community. Over the 20 last years, Hugh has been helping Quattro in building a reputation for its imaginative health, education and community projects; his long standing interest in green design and sustainability issues has resulted in some innovative buildings. In recent years, he has specialised in delivering high profile partnership projects; examples of his projects include the Bristol Foyer, the Knowle West Health Park, the Gatehouse Centre and most recently, the development of 5 Healthy Living Centres.
