Trustees of Bishops Cleeve Village Hall
Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham
Quattro Design Architects successfully worked on this project over a number of years providing an extension to the Tithe Barn which encompassed a new staircase, lift and meeting room, together with a bar and disabled WC facilities.
The repositioning of the original staircase meant that the front entrance could be relocated in the spendour of the front elevation whilst the first floor in the existing building formed a new servery and kitchen for the main hall.
Special consideration was given to ensure that the new and the old merged with sympathetic cohesion whilst ensuring the further multi-functional use of the building for many years to come.
The final part of the works, recently completed, involved removing 1960s dormer additions to the back of the main hall and replacing these with bespoke rooflights which compliment the grandeur of the hall.
