This festive season, at Quattro we have all been getting involved with our Christmas campaign to raise money for the James Hopkins Trust. A local charity providing nursing respite care for sick and life limited children in Gloucestershire.
Our Christmas campaign has included a fun festive fundraiser, the Christmas Scavenger Hunt, organised by the wonderful Helen Bromfield who has had competing teams dashing around the Gloucester Quays to answer some local knowledge-based questions in the hopes to win – all the while raising funds for a worthy cause. There’s been a wide range of questions from striking a pose with the Cathedral in the background to chatting to Gloucester Quays-based employees to find out an interesting fact about them or their job!
The Christmas activities have also included the perennial favourite – guess the number of Christmas sweets in the jar, taking part in the James Hopkins Trust Mega Raffle, and a new activity for this year – a family Google Earth Quiz Advent Calendar. The aim of the quiz is to work out all the clues (identify somewhere in the world for each advent calendar day) before the 25th!
Plus, following on from last year’s fantastic efforts to gather food for the Gloucester Food bank, once again, the team have also been donating food to help local families who will be struggling this Christmas.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Helen for organising the Christmas campaign and to all those who took part!
