Challenge
The Crypt School, founded in 1539, is an all-boys selective grammar school located in Gloucestershire. As an expanding Academy and with the change to a mixed intake, Quattro was recommended to The Crypt School by another Academy, as a practice with the experience and qualities needed to initially undertake a Premises Development Plan.

Solution
The Premises Development Plan (PDP) that emerged has been used by the school to inform development decisions and identify projects for Condition Improvement fund (CIF) opportunities, enabling the school to achieve their goals of transitioning to a co-educational selective school and accommodate their growth.
The most recent project completed on site as part of an update to the PDP is the new pavilion classroom building. The project saw the demolition of existing classrooms facilities in exceptionally poor condition. The replacement facility addresses the classroom shortfall, provides additional SEN facilities also missing within the school, whilst overall doubling up as a sports pavilion for out of hours sports use.
The strategic approach to the project was developed by Quattro in conjunction with the school. Overall the project has delivered exceptional value for money and flexibility in the facilities the Academy has available to them.
Quattro continues to work closely with the school on subsequent projects.
Quattro Design have supported us on a number of projects now and during these we have found them to provide an excellent service and approach. Their professional approach is more than we could have wished for and their contributions have been valued across the school and the Governing Body.

An exceptionally talented group of design architects who go the extra mile for the client, they have worked on a considerable number of projects at our Academy, all delivered with skill, efficiency, on time and within budget. I recommend them without reservation.
