Quattro provided Architectural Services link to Architecture in Services for six family learning centres across Birmingham. In Druids Heath and Shard End, existing premises were refurbished and extended to provide drop in cafes, crèche, health and IT facilities. In Aston, a major Victorian building was refurbished and converted to provide for the needs of the SRB5 programme and New Deal for Communities. In Wyrley Birch, a new build centre was developed as part of an estate renewal programme of childcare, housing, shops and road infrastructure.
Through the Children’s Centre and SRB5 funding Quattro developed Wryley Birch in partnership with the City Council and local agencies. It provides a much need community resource offering over 50 full childcare places along with community, health, family support and training.
