Challenge
Quattro provided Architectural Services for six family learning centres across Birmingham. In Druids Heath and Shard End, existing premises were refurbished and extended to provide drop in cafes, crèche, health and IT facilities. In Aston, a major Victorian building was refurbished and converted to provide for the needs of the SRB5 programme and New Deal for Communities. In Wyrley Birch, a new build centre was developed as part of an estate renewal programme of childcare, housing, shops and road infrastructure.

Solution
Through the Children’s Centre and SRB5 funding Quattro developed Wryley Birch in partnership with the City Council and local agencies. It provides a much need community resource offering over 50 full childcare places along with community, health, family support and training.
The process of working with Quattro on the design for our new school building has been an amazing experience...I felt that we were in very safe hands and completely trusted the team to guide us in making decisions in the best interests of the school.
Colwall C of E Primary School, Malvern
The classrooms are bright, light, calming, and simply inspiring, the outside environment is fun, safe but exciting.... The curves and the roof lights including our superb entrance, helps make it feel welcoming and the wonderful ethos of our school that makes us special has simply been enhanced by our transformation.
Alderman Knight. Tewkesbury
Quattro has created beautiful, inspiring learning spaces for our local school children and teachers. The completion of the final phase, an Early Years extension provides the much-needed creative space for pupils to develop their ideas and the perfect environment to host onsite before and after school wrap around care.
