Why is Community Consultation Important?

At Quattro, we know the benefits of effective consultation are far-reaching: it engenders a sense of ownership and new developments are better planned, better understood, better liked and better cared for.

In order for Community Engagement to be meaningful, it needs to happen across the whole Design Process.

Community Consultation and Engagement with all stakeholders, are a fundamental part of our approach to Collaborative Design.

We strive to create inspirational buildings and places which meet the needs of both inhabitants and users; our designs transform lives.

What does Engagement with all Stakeholders Involve?

Our Consultation Process begins with a detailed study of a site’s context, both physical and social. Through this, we develop an understanding of the opportunities and challenges surrounding each project and development.

We then encourage clients to work with us to engage the Local Community by means of Public Consultation which we endeavour to make as interactive and informative as possible. Our ultimate aim is to further inform the Design Process, creating great places and spaces to be enjoyed and appreciated by all.
Paramount at Public Consultations is to listen to and respect the diverse range of feedback and comments made at all events to ensure an inclusive outcome for all.

We cherish local knowledge and go the extra mile to hear what the community has to say…
Sometimes a passing comment from a previously unheard individual can become the guiding principle behind the overall outcome of a project

Quattro Design Architects Community Consultation

At Community Consultation gatherings we employ a variety of engagement techniques, tailoring events to the client’s requirements, the project type and the aspirations of local residents.
Consultations can range from large-scale public meetings and presentations to more low-key and personal open-house events. For a fully integrated and informed approach, we also align email and Social Media campaigns as well as newsletter drops through local post boxes.

We do our upmost to ensure that our buildings and developments meet the needs of the local community and every individual for which they serve; we understand that transforming spaces can transform lives.

We particularly enjoy Quattro's willingness to work with us to support and engage with others outside the design team, working with schools, colleges and local communities to inform and help stimulate interest and understanding of the construction industry.
