Quattro Design Architects is thrilled to be awarded Best Large Commercial Project with our sustainable design and transformation of ‘Shire Hall’.
The LABC Regional Building Excellence Awards are the largest business to business awards in the building control sector, recognising quality in all types of building projects.
Situated in the centre of Gloucester, Shire Hall is the transformation of Gloucestershire County Council’s (GCC) tired and inefficient 1960’s building, into facilities fit for the future, and benefitting from reduced maintenance and running costs.
The building is now a state-of-the-art office facility and an architectural landmark enhancing the regeneration of this historic city.
Quattro designed a highly sustainable workplace, one that has been responsibly and dynamically transformed over 120 weeks and 85 phases.
True to our ethos, our Shire Hall Team has achieved great results by working collaboratively with our partners GCC and Kier Construction to produce a sustainable Shire Hall of which all can be proud. We are honoured to be recognised by this award.
