Our team, in collaboration with BPE Solicitors, attended the annual Constructing Excellence Gloucestershire’s Christmas Quiz last week – and won!

All proceeds raised from the festive quiz and raffle will be going to Hope for Tomorrow, the cancer care charity who designed and launched the world’s first mobile chemotherapy unit.

The quiz trophy (seen being held by our Quattro quiz winners: Robert Walder, Jonathan White and James Taylor), was 3D printed by our in-house Visualisation Team using plastic with embedded concrete! It is the product of an internal “The Design Party” competition and is the winning design by our Dan Christison. The form represents the Constructing Excellence logo and the design is a play on this, dividing into slices that can be rearranged. Each slice has a difference relief pattern on it, reminiscent of a building’s elevation with balconies. These slices can then be reordered, flipped and turned etc with the intention of being able to create a different appearance according to how the winning team would want to display it. (You could even use them to play Ring Toss if you wanted to but that wasn’t one of the main design features!).

Thank you, Constructing Excellence, for organising such a fantastic festive event and well done to all those who took part!
