Premises Development Plans

Premises Development Plans

What are Premises Development Plans?

Premises Development Plans (PDP’s) are a crucial estates management document for any education estate in the public or private sector.

A PDP is much more than a Masterplan; it assesses what facilities a school, academy or college has, identifies the shortfall in any facilities against government or sector guidance and analyses the efficient use of space through curriculum analysis.

A PDP also assesses the condition of identified facilities and proposes costed solutions, with the aim delivering a long- term vision for the school, typically over a 5-year period.
