Richard joined Quattro in 1999 as an Architectural Technician, progressing to the role of Associate Director in 2007, establishing Quattro’s Housing Team. He was quickly appointed as Director in 2013. Having been an integral part of Quattro’s Board for over 10-years, Richard was appointed Joint Managing Director in 2023, with an increased responsibility for driving the business forward, maintaining and enhancing the company’s exacting expectations.
He leads our Residential team providing the strategic management for a talented team of Architects and technicians, whose projects range from small bespoke developments to strategic masterplanning, offering appraisal, feasibility, planning and technical design services. His accomplished team is active in over 40 district and unitary authorities, predominantly in the midlands, south west and south Wales, delivering upwards of 120 projects. In addition to his role leading Quattro’s Residential team, as Joint Managing Director, Richard is also responsible for the strategic management of the company.
Richard enjoys working with clients, landowners, contractors, and developers, approaching each project with a commercial attitude. He is highly skilled at partnership working and particularly enjoys joining with contractors to improve design, buildability, and time/cost certainty. Richard is responsible for client and contractor/developer liaison maintaining a strategic overview for the duration of each project.
