The Challenge
As experienced Hospital Architects, Quattro was appointed to deliver a High Dependency Unit for Gloucester Royal Hospital comprising of 4 HDU Beds and all associated technical Critical Care services.
The project had to be delivered in a fully functioning hospital with the works needing to be phased with both new and existing infrastructure services. It was imperative that the unit remained operational throughout the works, which required a deep understanding of how the unit operated on a day-to-day basis. Our team worked collaboratively with the NHS team as well as the contractors to ensure smooth, seamless project delivery.
